CFDA 2012: Olsen Twins, Nominees for the First Time.
Every year, the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers honour America (CFDA) is giving recognition to top icons and designers in the fashion industry on a glamorous ceremony.
This year’s CFDA, the Olsen twins are for the first time included in the list of nominees for Womenswear Designer of the Year award category together with famous fashion designers Marc Jacobs, Lazaro Hernandez, Jack McCollough and the Proenza Schouler designers, Vogue.com reported.
Super Olsen, Mary-Kate and Ashley who began their career as child television stars, had first launched their famous label in 2006 known as “The Row” with a bohemian-chic-aesthetic style.
The prominent twins do mean business as they enlisted Francois Kress, Prada’s President and CEO in US, to become the head of their label.
Last year, the twins were also included in Forbes’ 2011 Top 30 Under 30 chart and also named as most stylish siblings by US Vogue for their label.
Following their “The Row" ,they subsequently launched the “Elizabeth & James” and “Olsenboye.”

Mary Kate Olsen Gets Back In The Dating Scene.
It seems Mary Kate Olsen is ready for a new relationship as she's rumored to be dating Olivier Sarkozy who is the younger half-brother of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy.
After calling it quits with her artist boyfriend, Nate Lowman, more than two years ago, the 25-year-old actress-turned-fashion designer has reportedly given love another shot with the 42-year-old finance bigwig, as they have been spotted together several times the past few months.
The couple - who is thought to be "head over heels" for one another - were spotted enjoying the long Memorial Day weekend together in the Hamptons, and Mary-Kate reportedly went to a Knicks game with Olivier on April 25th.
Olsen's rep has yet to confirm the relationship.
